A trip to the Grand Canyon and back to what started it all for me - landscape photography.
We arrived just before sunset during a fast moving spring snow storm. They say you never forget the emotions you feel when you see the Grand Canyon for the first time. I had no idea. I was in awe.
Sitting alone on a rock at the edge, and I mean the edge (!), I watched the storm in front of me. The light changing constantly - playing on the distant hills and in the valley below. No matter which direction I looked, it was stunning. I finally put the camera down and just sat - speechless and full of emotion.
